Key facts
Turkey is one of the most popular destinations for hair transplants, mainly because experienced teams can offer treatment at a lower overall cost. At Esvita Clinic, hair transplant treatment in Turkey starts from €1,999 as an all-inclusive package. The exact price is confirmed after an assessment of your hair loss and donor area.
In the UK, many clinics price treatment per graft, so the bill rises with every graft transplanted. In Turkey, packages are often priced per session rather than per graft. This means the cost is more predictable, and the number of grafts is decided by medical need and donor capacity rather than budget. The number of grafts still matters, because larger areas may require a double session.
FUE is the method used to harvest individual follicular units. Sapphire blades are used to create recipient sites, while DHI usually refers to placement with implanter pens. These terms describe different stages or instruments rather than three separate harvesting methods. The equipment, team time and treatment plan can affect the quotation.[2]
The NHS gives a broad UK price range of £1,000 to £30,000, depending on the extent of hair loss, the procedure and the clinic and team. This is a range, not an average. For budgeting, the comparison below uses an illustrative £15,000 UK quote; your actual quotation may be lower or higher. Cosmetic hair transplants are not available on the NHS.[1]
Ask whether your UK quote covers the consultation, procedure, local anaesthesia, medication and early aftercare. PRP, continuing medication and later procedures may be separate charges. Include travel and accommodation if you will not be treated close to home.
The £15,000 figure is a worked budget example, not a measured UK average. Compare written quotes for equivalent treatment. Esvita Clinic prices are in euros; convert both quotes into the same currency using the exchange rate on the day you compare them, then add flights and any excluded care.[1]

Prices can differ because of the treatment plan, staffing, operating costs, clinic location and services included. A price difference alone does not establish treatment quality. Compare the same graft requirements, surgeon involvement, aftercare and exclusions before deciding.

At Esvita Clinic, the package includes the assessment, the procedure, blood tests, one PRP session, medication, a special shampoo set and a neck pillow for sleeping. The first wash is carried out at the clinic the day after the procedure, together with the first check.
Hotel accommodation is included: 2 nights for a single session and 3 nights for a double session. Transfers between the airport, hotel and clinic are also included.
Extra nights at the hotel, additional PRP sessions, travel companions or combined treatments, such as beard or eyebrow transplants, may affect the final price. A clear quote should list these separately.

In Sapphire FUE, channels are opened with sapphire-tipped blades, which allow fine, precise incisions. At Esvita Clinic, a Sapphire FUE session can transplant up to 5,500 grafts, which makes it suitable for larger areas in one session.
DHI uses implanter pens to place grafts directly, which gives the team close control over angle and direction and allows treatment without shaving the recipient area in suitable patients. It takes more time per graft, so it can be priced differently. A single DHI session can transplant up to 4,000 grafts, while a double DHI session can reach up to 7,500 grafts in one trip if the donor area allows.
Flights from the UK to Istanbul are not included in hair transplant packages. Direct flights take around four hours from many UK airports. You should also plan for time off work and any extra nights if you would like to stay longer.
After surgery, Esvita Clinic’s team follows your recovery online, with frequent check-ins in the first month and monthly follow-ups after that. You can read more about what to expect in our guide to hair transplant aftercare. If you decide to use ongoing treatments, such as medication, these costs should also be included in your long-term budget.
Value depends on more than price. Check the medical team’s experience, the clinic’s licence, verified patient reviews and real before-and-after results. Esvita Clinic is rated 4.9 on Google and 4.8 on Trustpilot. Ask who will be involved at each stage of your procedure and how many procedures are carried out each day.
A hair transplant is a long-term investment, so it helps to understand how long a hair transplant lasts and what affects the results over time. Esvita Clinic guarantees graft survival, except in patients with underlying conditions such as hormonal disorders or alopecia areata, which are explained before treatment.
“When patients compare prices, I ask them to compare the plan as well: how many grafts, which technique, who is in the team and what happens after they fly home. A clear plan is worth more than a low headline price.”

In most cases, yes. Even after adding flights, the total cost in Turkey is usually lower than a comparable procedure in the UK, and packages often include accommodation, transfers and aftercare products.
At Esvita Clinic, hotel accommodation and transfers are included, with 2 nights for a single session and 3 nights for a double session. Flights are not included, so you can book the dates and airline that suit you.
The online assessment gives an initial plan and price. This is confirmed after the in-person examination in Istanbul. If the plan needs to change, for example because a double session is more suitable, this is explained and agreed with you before the procedure.
